Sanzaa was born through the pioneering fashion minds of two best friends Sanya Rehman and Zahra Mahmood. The brand name evolved through the combination of both first names.
Sanzaa’s ambitious story began on a small market stall in the UK back in 2010. Having recognized that there was a distinct gap in the market for hijabs and islamic wear, we quickly gained fantastic reputation. After our first year we were delighted to be nominated in the top 3 for ‘Young Business Entrepreneur of the year’ award.
The year 2012 we both started our degree in Fashion and Enterprise. We were determined and passionate for developing our brand and took this degree as opportunity to grow our business venture.
In 2013 we opened our first Store, creating a permanent space for us to expand.
2015 at SANZAA launched its first very own modest clothing line. For 2 years SANZAA has slowly grown to design a range of beautiful clothing reflecting the very latest fashion trends. After a challenging few years we are now established as a Brand offering contemporary modest styles that meets the western trends. SANZAA has now started to distribute products in the UK.
